EasyWorship 2009 Tutorial Difficulty Level:Intermediate

This process is pretty involved but it is definitely worth it. As stated in the video H.264 is a great codec that cuts down on size of video while maintaining quality. This format is very common in video loops and mini movies found online which is why this codec is very important. For more information about the codecs check out this tutorial it gives you an in-depth look at each one and goes over pros and cons for each one.

EasyWorship 2009 Tutorial Difficulty Level:Advanced

This Tutorial Explains the Following EasyWorship Features in This Order:

  • What is a Foldback Display?
  • Hardware requirements
  • Display Properties Overview
  • Configuring Primary Display and Projection Display in EasyWorship
  • Configuring Foldback Display

This tutorial shows you how to get up and running with the FoldBack Display. This feature is extremely useful and is a great addition the EasyWorship software. This allows you to create a special display for your worship leader, choir, or anyone that needs it. You are able to customize the Foldback Display to show only the information the recipient needs and some extra things that the worship leader might need to see that the congregation doesn’t like: current time, next lyric, and a private message. These things can come in very handy when playing a new song or maybe you’re on a tight schedule. The private message function can be very handy for sound purposes if something needs to be adjusted on stage like a guiar amp you can send a discreet message without interrupting the service. I find this to be one of the most useful features in EasyWorship and I hope this tutorial can get you set up and ready to go with Foldback Display.

EasyWorship 2009 Tutorial Difficulty Level:Beginner

This Tutorial Explains the Following EasyWorship Features in This Order:

  • DVD Menu Overview
  • Creating Clip Name
  • Creating Thumbnail
  • Setting In/Out Points
  • Selecting Segments
  • Adding DVD Clips to Schedule
  • Playing DVD Clips

This tutorial shows you how to work with DVDs in EasyWorship. Something I’ve noticed is that churches like to play clips from movies more often than playing the entire movie, thats where this feature comes in handy. This feature allows you to select specific portions of DVD movies, specific chapters, or simply the entire movie. One thing that was mentioned in the video that I would like to reiterate is to not use DVD clips as loops for backgrounds, DVDs are fairly slow and because of that when it gets to loop point there will be a moment of lag. This doesn’t have anything to do with the software this is simply a limitation of DVDs. Another thing I would like to point out is that when you create a clip it is not saving anything to the computer, it is simply creating a time reference and therefore the DVD must remain in the computer for the video to play.

EasyWorship 2009 Tutorial Difficulty Level:Beginner

This tutorial goes over some of the video codecs for video backgrounds and mini movies in EasyWorship. This is a very confusing topic for many people because of the many codecs out there. This tutorial clears up a lot of the confusion based on what type of projector you are using (HD or SD) and what type of media you are using (again HD or SD). Based on which codec you choose to use you may need to install the K-Lite Codec Pack. This is easily installed and will allow EasyWorship to play H.264 video files. You may use this video for instructions on how to install the K-Lite Codec Pack.
