This Module has a lot of creative potential and it’s really up to the user as to how you apply it to your system. From the research I have done it seems like pretty much any midi controller will work with ProPressenter. This module can use midi controllers to operate tons of features within ProPresenter. This could come in handy with midi foot switches for when you are without a media worker or you just want to have specific queues set up that you might want your worship leader to trigger from the stage.

Here is a screenshot of the MiDi Module Control Panel in Propresenter 5.

As you can see there is a lot of features that are controllable via MiDi devices. These can be applied in several different ways depending on your situation.

You can download Stage Display at the Apple App Store here.

EasyWorship For Mac

EasyWorship for MacThe guys over at easy worship really seem to have outdone themselves with this new update. From what they say there will be almost no learning curve for those transitioning to the Mac version from Windows. They say that the database and schedules will be cross compatible for those that want to work on both operating systems or are simply transitioning. The new search feature that they have implemented is very powerful and very customizable. All the new EasyWorship Mac features are very exciting and I can’t wait to actually get my hands on the software.

ProPresenter 5 Tutorial Difficulty Level: Beginner

This Tutorial Explains the Following ProPresenter Features in This Order:

  • DVD Interface Overview
  • Setting In and Out Points
  • DVD Limitations
  • DVD Ripping
  • HandBrake Overview
  • Creating  a Ripped DVD File
  • Benefits of DVD Ripping
  • Module Compatibility  Overview

This tutorial show the various ways you can play DVDs in ProPresenter through the traditional and ripping method. The ripping feature is very useful because it opens up several possibilities for presentations. One of these options is being able to put multiple DVD clips from different DVDs in the same presentation without the need to mess with multiple discs at presentation time. Another way that this feature is useful is for users with multiple screens, DVDs cannot be displayed on more than one display but because this feature creates video files multiple screens aren’t a problem anymore. For users who desire more than one output display for video this feature is also especially useful when paired with the Multi-Screen module.  This just adds to the already long list of great features found in ProPresenter. This also can add a whole new level of professionalism to your presentations in allowing multiple clips without any type of time gap between changing discs or dealing with disc spindown.

ProPresenter 5 Difficulty Level: Beginner

This Tutorial Explains the Following ProPresenter Features in This Order:

  • Slide Labeling and Grouping
  • Creating a New Arrangement
  • Slide Re-Ordering
  • Making Different Arrangements of the Same Song
  • Adding Different Arrangements to the Same Playlist

The arrangements feature in ProPresenter allows you to create different versions of the same song for say a youth service or short/long version of a song. The feature comes in very handy because not every church uses the same arrangement and lyrics from the internet are not always in the order that you would want. This feature makes it extremely simple to re-order your songs and customize them the way your band plays them. This is one of my favorite features in ProPresenter just because of how useful it is.
