This Module has a lot of creative potential and it’s really up to the user as to how you apply it to your system. From the research I have done it seems like pretty much any midi controller will work with ProPressenter. This module can use midi controllers to operate tons of features within ProPresenter. This could come in handy with midi foot switches for when you are without a media worker or you just want to have specific queues set up that you might want your worship leader to trigger from the stage.

Here is a screenshot of the MiDi Module Control Panel in Propresenter 5.

As you can see there is a lot of features that are controllable via MiDi devices. These can be applied in several different ways depending on your situation.

EasyWorship For Mac

EasyWorship for MacThe guys over at easy worship really seem to have outdone themselves with this new update. From what they say there will be almost no learning curve for those transitioning to the Mac version from Windows. They say that the database and schedules will be cross compatible for those that want to work on both operating systems or are simply transitioning. The new search feature that they have implemented is very powerful and very customizable. All the new EasyWorship Mac features are very exciting and I can’t wait to actually get my hands on the software.

ProPresenter 5 Tutorial Difficulty Level: Beginner

This Tutorial Explains the Following ProPresenter Features in This Order:

  • Template Menu Overview
  • Creating a new Template
  • Formatting a new Template
  • Creating Template Groups
  • Creating new Templates From Existing Templates

This tutorial explains one of the most powerful features of ProPresenter and that is the templates function. This feature is extremely useful for quick uniform formatting for presentations. There are several formatting options that this feature offers such as: drop shadow, text outline, extensive font library, centering lines, text alignment and many others. All of these features allow you to get very creative in making your own templates. ProPresenter comes out of the box with several templates and as the tutorial will show you these can be edited and customized to your liking then saved as new templates to use in your presentations. You can also import your own images, crop and resize them then incorporate them into your presentation as desired.

ProPresenter 5 Tutorial – Difficulty Level – Beginner

This Tutorial Explains the Following ProPresenter Features in This Order:

  • Importing PowerPoint files
  • Import Options or PowerPoint Files
  • Slide Labeling
  • Importing Text Files
  • Import Options for Text Files
  • Reflow Editor For Text Files
  • Importing Copied Text
  • Importing SongSelect Files
  • Editing SongSelect Files

This tutorial shows several options for importing new songs into ProPresenter such as SongSelect, PowerPoint, and text. All of these methods are very simple and just add to the functionality of the software. A feature I would really pay attention to would be the PowerPoint import feature because most often people are transitioning from using PowerPoint and would like to use all of their songs without needing to redo all of them manually. Another feature that is very useful is the Reflow Editor, as most of you probably know when you import text using copy/paste things tend to not be formatted the way you would like. The Reflow Editor makes formatting your songs very simple and it is one of my favorite tools just because of its ease and functionality. SongSelect is another useful feature that allows you to search a database of songs and add them to your ProPresenter library with formatting already done for you.
