EasyWorship 2009 Tutorial Difficulty Level:Beginner
This Tutorial Explains the Following EasyWorship Features in This Order:
- EasyWorship Interface Overview
- Adding Songs to The Schedule
- Adding Backgrounds to Songs
- Adding Video Backgrounds to Songs
- Importing PowerPoint Files Into EasyWorship
- Saving Schedules
- Presenting Songs
- Clear, Black, and Logo Options
This tutorial covers the basics of the interface with things like the clear button which removes all the lyrics and displays only the background, the black button which clears everything on the screen and displays a black projection, and the logo button which displays your church/company logo that you set ahead of time. The video also goes over adding songs and media and organizing your schedule. Another great feature in EasyWorship is the PowerPoint Integration, there is no need to switch programs for the pastors presentations or for announcement loops. All of these topics are covered in more depth in our other tutorials which can be found on our blog. Worshipsoftware.com
EasyWorship 2009 Tutorial Difficulty Level:Beginner
This Tutorial Explains the Following EasyWorship Features in This Order:
- DVD Menu Overview
- Creating Clip Name
- Creating Thumbnail
- Setting In/Out Points
- Selecting Segments
- Adding DVD Clips to Schedule
- Playing DVD Clips
This tutorial shows you how to work with DVDs in EasyWorship. Something I’ve noticed is that churches like to play clips from movies more often than playing the entire movie, thats where this feature comes in handy. This feature allows you to select specific portions of DVD movies, specific chapters, or simply the entire movie. One thing that was mentioned in the video that I would like to reiterate is to not use DVD clips as loops for backgrounds, DVDs are fairly slow and because of that when it gets to loop point there will be a moment of lag. This doesn’t have anything to do with the software this is simply a limitation of DVDs. Another thing I would like to point out is that when you create a clip it is not saving anything to the computer, it is simply creating a time reference and therefore the DVD must remain in the computer for the video to play.

This is indeed great news! ProPresenter (Renewed Vision) has released a beta version of their ProPresenter for Windows. This ProPresenter release will be supported on Windows XP, Vista and Win7. I personally installed the beta on a Win7 OS and it was seamless. The provided the codec “Microsoft Expressions Encoder 3.0″ needed to use h.264 motion loops. Also, using “K-Lite Mega codec pack” I was able to view and play other video formats.
Great work Renewed Vision! I’m excited and looking forward to the production release.
